Each person has a head, a chest and hip bones.

Many animals have bones that are very similar to those that we humans have.

An easy way to remember the shape of an animal's legs,

is to think about our own arms and legs.

Their front legs have the same joints that our arms have.

Their hind legs are similar to our legs.

First step: Always draw the skeleton.
Draw circles for the head, chest and hips.
Join them with a backbone.
Draw the leg bones.

All these bones will be erased later,
so draw them lightly.

You already know how to draw the head.

Make the body and legs by drawing
around the shapes and bones. (You don't
have to be too fussy.) Both of these
were drawn from the same skeleton.
