I always start with a circle.
This is where the brain goes.
Next, draw the animal's snout. 
We'll draw different shaped snouts later.
 
Draw the nose
and
the eyes.
 
Draw the ear.
Draw the lower jaw.
Draw a small curve at the end of the mouth.
Lots of artists like to add
a line above the eye.
This makes the eye look more real.
 
Zigzag lines  on the side of the face
give the animal lots of fur.
